We firmly believe that the experience of traveling abroad, even for a short period, is an essential life experience that everyone should have. As Haitians, we are often obligated to travel overseas and even migrate in search of opportunities and better life. Our mission at The Haitian Ruby Project is to empower our members and participants to embark on short-term journeys abroad with determination, fostering personal growth and development. Through these experiences, they gain a deeper understanding of ideal community concepts and ideologies.
We not only encourage our participants to cultivate a personal vision for Haiti, one that motivates them to contribute to their homeland, but also to actively seize opportunities that can facilitate their growth and achieve goals they may have never imagined attaining before.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to partnering with intentional communities, organizations, and programs that can receive our participants, such as camps, evangelicalism and/or leadership programs, and communal trainings. These partnerships enable us to provide a wide range of transformative experiences for our members, enriching their personal and community development journeys and to be catalysts for change and impact wherever they go whether on the global stage or locally .
In doing so, we aim to broaden horizons and benefit those communities by fostering diversity, promoting inclusivity, being of great impact and providing empowerment to both international and Haitian youth alike.
