Animal Welfare Program

We are committed to making a positive impact in Haiti by addressing a critical issue – the welfare of animals. Current Situation:

• Stray Animals: Haiti has struggled with a large population of stray dogs and cats, often suffering from neglect, malnutrition, and disease.
• Limited Veterinary Care: Access to veterinary care, especially in rural areas, has been limited, making it challenging to provide necessary health services to animals.
• Cultural Factors: Cultural attitudes and awareness about animal welfare can vary, and there is an opportunity to educate and raise awareness.
• Natural Disasters: Haiti's susceptibility to natural disasters further exacerbates the challenges faced by animals.

Our Initiative:

• Animal Welfare Program: Within our project, we have established an Animal Welfare Program to address these issues systematically.
• Education: We aim to raise awareness and educate communities about the importance of humane treatment, responsible pet ownership, and the value of animals in our lives.
• Medical Care: Our program includes initiatives through partnership with other organizations and individuals to provide veterinary care, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering services to improve the health of animals.
• Advocacy: We aim to advocate for the development of animal welfare legislation and collaborate with local authorities to promote responsible animal care.
